Solution: Establish self-directed pre-work module for advanced level courses.

Navigating Facilitation Challenges


My Role:

Client Request: We need on-demand training that provides a realistic experience of facilitating in complex
environments.

Solution: Mock workshop branched exercise for learner to problem solve facilitation hiccups and apply previously learned tactics.

  • Navigate real-world facilitation challenges
  • Problem solve facilitation challenges through to resolution

Coaching Conversations


My Role:
Instructional Design & Project Management

Client Request: We want our client sessions to focus on their specific needs and practicing concepts not lecturing on introductory content.

Solution: Self-directed module for clients to complete ahead of facilitator-led session and reference during their practice.

  • Describe institutional coaching conversation model
  • Navigate common workplace scenarios to apply conversational model

Facilitation Techniques

Client Request: Enable learner to mobilize their understanding of previously introduced techniques.

Solution: Self-assessment game to provide summary report of preferences and opportunities for further learning.

  • Practice responding to workshop moments using a facilitation technique
  • Develop awareness of personal comfort and preferences
  • Recognize many approaches and responses are correct

Client Request: Help keep learners interested and engaged in the text heavy content.

Solution: Provide brief activation activity to apply scaffolding concepts by organizing appropriate activity progression.

  • Recognize importance of logical and intentional content progression when designing workshops
